LG BD 300 Blu ray Player First To Stream Netflix Launches This Fall

The anticipated launch of the LG BD 300 Blu-ray Player will see another first for the increasingly popular format as it will be the first to be able to stream the Netflix on line Watch Now range of movies. The latest LG Blu-ray was first shown at a New York Press event in August but was then shown to the rest of the industry at the CEDIA Expo 2008 in Denver, Colorado.

Does Home Theater Need Yet Another High Definition Format?

With Blu-Ray finally starting to become finally become the accepted format for high defintion recordings amongst the majority. It comes as some what of a suprise to many that Sim2 (a high end projector company) have decided to partner with digital media producer Entertainment Experience who produce products for the professional theatres, universities and commercial display markets.

Digital Switch Over Leaves Residents Up In Arms

The first town in the US to receive exclusively digital only broadcasting was met with mixed reactions by it's residents as many jammed phone lines wondering what on earth was going on when their TV's suddenly stopped working. Many residents of Wilmington, North Carolina were either unprepared for the analogue switch off or were experiencing problems with their digital set top boxes designed to convert older non digital ready TV's.
