Disney Ready To Follow Sony In 3D Race
Disney seems keen to follow in the footsteps of Sony and has indicated that it will be producing a 3D showcase Blu ray disk designed to be mass produced and already available to 3D hardware manufacturers this summer. The disc is designed specifically for early those adopters of the newly anticipated format which appear to be Samsung and Sony according to the announcements made at CES 2010 in Las Vegas this January.

Lord Of The Rings Blu Ray Out Next April 2010
Much to the chagrin of many the much awaited Lord Of The Rings on Blu Ray is due to be released next year on April 6th 2010 in the US. But you'd imagine such news would be well recieved but it seems that the intention is only to release the theatrical version first with a later release of the extended version.

Star Trek 2009 (Two-Disc Digital Copy Edition)
I am not masive Star Trek fan so the thought of watching Star Trek 2009 didn't get me that excited but as you will know if you read this blog that I got hold of a copy of this movie to test a new Blu Ray player so of course I actually saw the Blu Ray version but I felt it was only logical to at least express my views of the movie as it was stunning.

The Hangover (Unrated Two-Disc Special Edition)
The Hangover is a good deal of fun and worth watching if you have a few guys round and fancy a good bely full of beer and laughs instead of poker night.
