Wolfman Will Have You Howling In The Aisles
It’s rare these days I get to a movie theater so when friends came round and said are you coming to see Wolfman I was pretty excited. After all with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins it had to have something going for it.

Well I won’t go in to the plot but rest to say if you read complimentary reviews of this film they were probably paid to write them.
I have seen so many films on DVD and Blu Ray which bombed at the box office and on the whole a good proportion of them have turned out better than expected but I am struggling to think of one single reason why you’d buy this on DVD.
Most Werewolf films have always struggled a bit but with todays modern cinematic techniques they could have done so much better.
It really just seemed to go along with no real story and realtionships that seemed to make no sense at all. I couldn’t wait to see the ending credits. The weak score did nothing to lift this poorly concieved and directed movie and it felt like it was pounding in my ears.
To be honest I started to wonder if the hot dog stall in the foyer was busy….
If you like plenty of blood and guts (pretty realistic to be fair) and gratuitous violence combined with a very lose story line you’ll enjoy this otherwise I suggest spending a few dollars on rental would be the most you should even consider.
If the 2010 movie scene opens with this I am looking forward to things improving and I don’t expect I will be going on my friends recommendation for a movie night any time soon.
